Vivo v19 global variant with snapdragon 712 soC, dual selfie camera launched: specifications

Vivo is yet to launch Vivo V19 in India, although the phone is expected to arrive in the country.


The global version of Vivo V19 has been officially unveiled, weeks after the company postponed its official launch. The Vivo V19 was originally scheduled to debut in India on 26 March, but the launch was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus status. From the information available on the official website, the Vivo V19 will be offered in Glim Black and Sleek Silver color options, as well as other storage options. The new version differs from the V19 model previously released in Indonesia.

As mentioned earlier, Vivo has not specified the price of the new smartphone. According to the information available on the website, Vivo V19 will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage options. The company said, “Details may vary by region. Please see the local official website for more information.”

On the other hand, Vivo India lists the phone as an upcoming handset on its portal. Through its Twitter account, Vivo India stated that the company will disclose more information about the smartphone if the Coronavirus situation in the country improves.

Last month, Vivo launched the V19 in Indonesia with different specifications.


Vivo V19 specification

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo V19 has a 6.44-inch full-HD + (1080×2400) Super AMOLED display under the fingerprint scanner. There is also a low-brightness anti-flicker technique for extra protection in the dark. The phone runs Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10. Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM.

In terms of cameras, the large hole-punch on the front panel features a 32-megapixel main selfie camera and an 8-megapixel shooter. The quad-camera setup at the rear includes a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultraviolet angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. There is also a 2-megapixel macro shooter at the rear.

They will come in two storage variants, namely 128 GB and 256 GB, both of which will be expandable through a dedicated microSD card slot.

For connectivity, the Vivo V19 has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi and GPS support. Apart from this, the phone comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Vivo claims that the 33W Vivo FlashCharge 2.0 technology charges the phone from 0 to 54 percent in just 30 minutes.

The Vivo V19 measures 159.64×75.04×8.5 mm and weighs 186.5 grams.
