The company is also increasing the validity of offers like one-time screen replacement and complete damage protection. For now, Oppo has suspended all on-ground repair work. There is only one online service to help customers with basic issues or software-related problems.
Realme to extend warranty
Realme customers who buy the device between March 15 and April 30 will get an extended replacement period of 30 days if they want to return a device. Realme will also offer an extended warranty until May 31 for those whose warranty expires between March 20 and April 30. Extended warranty applies accessories as well, and not just Realme smartphones
Huwai and honer extend warranty
Huawei announced on Twitter that it is expanding the service to June 30 across all devices. This will include smartphones, smartwatch, headsets, chargers, etc. Anyone whose warranty expires between March 21 and June 21, 2020, will be eligible for extension.
Honor also announced that it will provide extended warranty to customers on their phones, wearables, etc. by June 30. Once again, the customers whose warranty expires between March 21 and June 21 will get the benefit.
In a statement, Honor said it was following recent instructions around the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown.
